Job summary

MIRA CONSTRUCTION L.L.C in Dubai is seeking a committed Strength & Conditioning Coach to support the team’s physical preparation, performance, recovery, and injury prevention. The role involves leading three evening training sessions per week, conducting fitness assessments, and designing individualized strength programmes for cricket players.

A relevant degree or S&C qualification is required, with UAE visa eligibility for residents.

Qualifications

• Degree in Sports Science or related field, and/or recognised Strength & Conditioning qualification.
• Experience working with team sports; cricket knowledge is a plus.
• Understanding of conditioning, performance testing, recovery and injury-prevention principles.
• Ability to design individualized training programmes and adapt to athlete needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead warm-ups, conditioning sessions, and injury-prevention programmes during three evening training sessions per week in Dubai.
• Conduct initial fitness assessments and regular performance testing throughout the season.
• Develop individualized gym and strength programmes tailored to players' needs and performance goals.
• Work closely with the Head Coach to monitor and manage fast bowlers' workloads.
• Support players in improving strength, speed, endurance, mobility, and overall physical performance.
• Recommend practical strategies to improve team fitness, recovery, and injury prevention.
• Track player progress and adjust training plans based on assessment results and performance demands.
• Contribute ideas and practical solutions to help establish the club's fitness and conditioning programme.
