Job summary

Amazon GCC is seeking a Vendor Manager for our Fashion business in Dubai to develop and own strategies for top vendor relationships across the MENA region. You will drive category profitability, negotiate terms, and partner with merchandising to launch new products while improving the customer experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience.
• Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
• Knowledge of Excel and extracting data through varied reporting tools in order to drive and influence business decisions.
• Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements.
• Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies that drive profitable growth while delivering best-in-class customer experiences
• Build deep knowledge of supply/demand trends and category success drivers through data analysis and market insights
• Establish strategic relationships with leading manufacturers and brands, negotiating agreements and driving new product launches
• Own P&L management and financial analysis, making data-driven recommendations to optimize category performance
• Execute pricing strategies and promotional campaigns in collaboration with vendors and merchandising teams
• Manage end-to-end inventory health by partnering with operational teams to balance stock levels and mitigate overstock/stock-out risks
• Lead projects to improve sourcing efficiency and supply chain performance
