Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Excel and extracting data through varied reporting tools in order to drive and influence business decisions.

Amazon GCC is looking for a smart, enthusiastic, hard-working and creative Vendor Manager to join our Fashion business to be based out of Dubai.
The Vendor Manager will be responsible for developing and owning the strategy for some of our top vendor relationships across the MENA Region. Within this role, the individual will have the opportunity establish and maintain reliable vendor partnerships, manage category profitability, and identify means to improve the customer experience. We are seeking a business leader with a broad skill-set which demonstrates analytical horsepower, excellent business judgment, strong vendor management and negotiations skills, deep curiosity to uncover how things work, and a passion for creating a world class shopping experience for our customers. You will work with vendors of all sizes and must have the leadership presence and communication skills to represent Amazon at all levels of these organizations. Experience in business analytics, strategic thinking, negotiations and operations are required.

A day in the life

You'll start your day analyzing overnight sales data and category performance metrics to identify opportunities and risks. Mid-morning brings vendor calls where you negotiate terms for an upcoming product launch while coordinating with your merchandising team on promotional strategy. After lunch, you'll dive into financial modeling to assess the profitability of pricing changes, then collaborate with operations to resolve a supply chain challenge. You'll wrap up by gathering customer feedback and translating insights into actionable improvements, constantly refining your approach to elevate the customer experience.

Basic Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements
