Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Tender Estimator to own tenders from enquiry to submission in the UAE. You will review documents, perform take-offs, build up rates for labour, materials and plant, and prepare full cost estimates.

You will analyse subcontractor quotations, attend site visits, and support the bid team to deliver on time. Experience with a main contractor in UAE or GCC and a Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering are preferred; CostX or similar tools should be familiar and you

Qualifications

• Estimating experience with a main contractor, UAE or GCC.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or similar.
• Strong take off and measurement skills.
• Familiar with CostX or similar.

Responsibilities

• Own tenders from enquiry through to submission.
• Review tender documents, drawings and specifications and identify scope.
• Produce accurate take offs and build up rates for labour, material and plant.
• Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare full cost estimates and present them at settlement meetings.
• Attend site visits and pre tender meetings with clients and consultants.
• Work with the bid team to deliver submissions on time.
• Support handover of won projects to the commercial team.
