Job summary

Base Career in Dubai seeks a results-driven Supply Chain Director to lead strategy, procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution, aiming to boost efficiency, cut costs, and improve reliability across the supply network.

You will develop and implement policies, oversee ERP, procurement, and warehouse systems, manage supplier relationships, coordinate with finance and sales, and build robust risk and continuity plans to ensure on-time delivery and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in supply chain management or senior leadership.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, inventory, warehousing, and distribution.
• Experience in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
• Strong negotiation, commercial, financial, and cost-control skills.
• Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good knowledge of supply chain risk management and business continuity.
• UAE/GCC experience in customs, import/export, and logistics is advantageous.
• Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Professional, accountable, proactive, organized, and results-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee procurement, sourcing, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
• Monitor supply chain KPIs, costs, service levels, and operational performance.
• Manage supplier selection, evaluation, negotiation, and relationships.
• Oversee inventory planning, demand forecasting, purchasing, and replenishment.
• Optimize transportation, warehouse, and distribution operations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
• Manage supply risks, disruptions, and contingency planning.
• Coordinate with finance, sales, operations, procurement, and other departments.
• Monitor supplier quality, delivery performance, and contract compliance.
• Manage supply chain budgets, spending, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Oversee ERP, procurement, inventory, and supply chain management systems.
• Ensure compliance with customs, import/export, and relevant regulations.
• Prepare supply chain reports, forecasts, and management recommendations.
• Lead, develop, and improve supply chain teams and processes.
