Job summary

AM.PM in Dubai seeks an experienced Purchasing and Supply Chain professional to lead supplier strategy, tender management, and supplier performance initiatives. You will organize evaluations, drive negotiations, and support contract execution to secure optimal terms.

Fluency in English and Russian, strong communication, and data analytics will help you manage high-volume supplier data and stakeholder expectations in a dynamic trading environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in procurement, supplier sourcing, and tender management from the buyer’s side.
• Mandatory experience in direct procurement for resale within trading or distribution.
• Fluency in English and Russian (written and spoken).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive mindset with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large data volumes.

Responsibilities

• Develop supplier strategies, including selection criteria, procurement cost optimization, and market analysis.
• Organize and conduct tender processes with documentation evaluation and supplier selection recommendations.
• Manage the supplier database, source new suppliers, maintain records, and run KPI evaluations.
• Lead negotiations and support contract preparation, review, and execution.
• Monitor supplier performance dashboards, analyze metrics, and prepare reports.
• Manage supplier claims and assist dispute resolution processes.

Tasks

• Develop supplier strategies, including supplier selection criteria, procurement cost optimization, and market analysis.
• Organize and conduct tender processes, including preparation of tender documentation, evaluation of proposals, and recommendations on supplier selection.
• Manage the supplier database, including sourcing new suppliers, maintaining supplier records, conducting annual supplier performance evaluations (KPIs), and developing improvement plans.
• Lead negotiations and support contract preparation, review, and execution.
• Monitor supplier performance dashboards, analyze key metrics, and prepare reports and recommendations.
• Manage supplier claims by documenting non-compliance issues, preparing claims, and supporting dispute resolution processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in procurement, supplier sourcing, and tender management from the buyer’s side.
• Mandatory experience in direct procurement of products intended for further resale within a trading or distribution business.
• Fluency in both English and Russian (written and spoken) is required.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive mindset with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large volumes of data.
