Job summary

Al Tayer Group is seeking a senior procurement professional to act as the interface with stakeholders, ensuring delivery of service requirements and procurement objectives. The role leads high spend category sourcing, driving value, quality, and timelines across the business.

You will build category strategies, manage supplier performance, and ensure end-to-end sourcing transparency. A strong background in MBA, with 7+ years in UAE procurement, is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate (any discipline) preferably with Finance or Engineering background with MBA
• 7+ years’ experience in a procurement leadership role within UAE or similar centralized model

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing activities to drive lowest total cost of acquisition and ownership
• Develop and maintain category strategies with risk analysis and mitigation plans
• Coordinate required activities across spend categories to meet timelines and quality expectations
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
• Negotiate scope of work, create RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and analyze supplier responses
• Manage supplier relationships and performance, conduct quarterly reviews
• Provide procurement analytics to stakeholders to inform strategic decisions
• Coach and develop sourcing team members and allocate project responsibilities
