Job summary

Uni Systems is seeking a skilled Configuration Management professional in the UAE to lead CMDB governance and CI lifecycle across ITSM processes. The role emphasizes accurate CMDB data, policy creation, and SOP maintenance in line with ITIL practices.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in IT with strong ITSM expertise and hands-on CMDB experience, including ServiceNow integrations, data-source management, and governance across Change Enablement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of IT experience.
2 years in a similar role or relevant project experience.
Strong practical knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM).
Proven experience in defining, implementing, and documenting Service Configuration Management practices.
Hands-on experience managing and governing a CMDB and CI lifecycle.
Experience integrating CMDB with Change Enablement and other ITSM processes.
Knowledge of data source management, automated discovery, and CMDB integrations.
Experience with CMDB reporting, auditing, and ServiceNow Configuration Management/CMDB.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

Accountable for Service Configuration Management and the CMDB.
Define, execute, monitor, and continuously improve the Service Configuration Management practice.
Establish, track, and report on Service Configuration Management and CMDB KPIs.
Ensure the CMDB contains accurate and up-to-date information.
Maintain and update service trees.
Ensure processes and the CMDB are accurately reflected in the ITSM solution.
Prepare and maintain policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Contribute to the implementation and improvement of other ITIL practices.
