Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a Program Manager to ensure the successful delivery of complex IT security projects on time and within negotiated scope. You will lead a virtual team including Customer Contacts, Fortinet Sales, Professional Services Engineers and Technical Support to guarantee a technically sound, profitable and supportable implementation.

The ideal candidate will have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis, and possess exceptional negotiation and communication

Qualifications

• About 5 years in a similar Program Manager role.
• Technical understanding of security, cloud and networking projects.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking.
• Outstanding negotiation, oral communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent written communication, combining courtesy, precision, conciseness and clarity.
• Experience with global enterprise, MSSP, carrier and government customers.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and timelines with analytical thinking.
• Experience communicating difficult information tactfully.

Responsibilities

• Manage the relationship with the customer and all stakeholders.
• Identify resources and build the project delivery team.
• Coordinate Fortinet functions and coordinate activities for delivery.
• Coordinate Professional Services resources and third parties for flawless execution.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
• Manage changes in scope, schedule and costs with verification techniques.
• Measure project performance with appropriate tools.
• Report to management and escalate issues as needed.
• Manage escalations with all levels to resolve challenges.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Apply Fortinet's methodology and enforce project standards.
• Perform risk management to minimize exposure and risk on projects.
• Forecast revenue and monitor project profitability.
• Ensure project legal documents are completed and signed at start of the project.
• Facilitate team and client meetings.
• Communicate difficult information tactfully.
