Job summary

Teneo is seeking a data‑driven Vice President for its Research team in the Middle East to advise high‑profile clients on narratives, reputation, and proactive storytelling. The role spans across research and account teams, delivering insights and supporting strategic objectives.

You will guide project design, client counsel, and business development while coaching Associates and Senior Associates, collaborating with MDs and SVPs across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in communications, journalism, political science, law, public policy, international relations, business, market research or related field.
• 57 years of experience in a research role within agency or inhouse.
• Strong understanding of the region's media and geopolitical landscapes.
• Experience offering client counsel at appropriate level based on in-depth insight of clients' business and sector.
• Deep knowledge of wider corporate reputational or market issues arising.
• Strong ability to grasp clients' business objectives and relevant industry dynamics to enable messaging and materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead research and analysis to understand market, geopolitical and/or business trends using various research tools.
• Develop tailored research programs to answer clients' questions and support briefs and situation analyses.
• Design and deploy tailored research programs; lead methodology, planning, vendor negotiations and analysis.
• Manage client relationships through frequent communication, updates, and budget oversight.
• Collaborate with SVPs and MDs to manage opportunities and client concerns proactively.
