Strategic Project Finance Partner – Live Events

Job summary

TAIT is a leader in live events, partnering with artists and brands to bring culture-defining experiences to life. We seek a Project Finance Business Partner to validate forecasts and ensure accuracy in large, complex projects across the region.

You will partner with Project Management and Operations to confirm contract values, costs to complete, margins and financial risks, strengthening governance and forecast reliability throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; ACCA, ACA, CPA, or CMA certification.
• 8+ years in finance, incl. 5+ years in project finance, project controls, or commercial finance in construction, events, or other project-based businesses.
• Hands-on experience with site visits and project valuations (percent complete, earned value, cost-to-complete).
• Strong grasp of project contracts, change orders, cost forecasting, and margin management.
• Working knowledge of IFRS 15 for long-term contracts.

Responsibilities

• Project forecasting and financial assurance: review forecasts, validate contract value, revenue, cost-to-complete and margin.
• Site engagement and valuation: validate percent complete and earned value against site progress.
• Commercial and contract oversight: support bid stage with cost build-ups and margin analysis; review contracts and change orders.
• Revenue recognition and project accounting: ensure IFRS 15 compliance and proper revenue recognition.
• Project cash and working capital: monitor billing, collections, and cash forecasts.
• Project reporting and planning: produce monthly portfolio reports and feed forecasts into budgets.
• Accounting, close and compliance support: assist with month-end journals and year-end audit.
