Job summary

Al Khalidiya Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Accountant to join its Joinery Division. The role focuses on accurate financial processing, project costing, and timely reporting to support divisional profitability.

The ideal candidate has UAE accounting experience, knowledge of VAT, and strong Excel/ERP skills to coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams while ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 4+ years of UAE experience as an Accountant.
• Experience in Construction or Manufacturing industry preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP software.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and basic tax accounting requirements.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and financial activities for the division.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, receipts, payments, and records.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and GL reconciliations.
• Monitor project-related costs, expenses, and transactions.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, sales, and project teams on financial matters.
• Verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes, and supporting documents.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, cost reports, and summaries.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up on balances.
• Support budgeting, cost control, and project profitability analysis.
• Ensure documentation and compliance with accounting procedures.
• Assist with audits and VAT documentation.
