Job summary

Royal Joinery in Abu Dhabi ICAD 1, Mussafah, UAE, seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to lead financial operations. The role covers reporting, compliance with UAE regulations, cash flow management, and collaboration with auditors to support strategic decisions.

The successful candidate will oversee close processes, ensure accurate statements, and contribute to budgeting and improvements in accounting systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, fit-out, or joinery industry.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and general ledger activities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE financial regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audit processes.
• Maintain and improve accounting systems and internal controls.
