Job summary

Black Pearl Consult in Sharjah seeks an experienced Production Planning Engineer for luxury furniture, joinery and upholstery operations. You will convert orders into detailed, machine-to-machine production plans, coordinate with departments, and ensure deliverable targets are met.

The role requires 5–8 years in furniture production planning, strong BOMs/routing/ERP/MRP skills (Odoo preferred), Excel, and CNC/woodworking familiarity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years in production planning in joinery/furniture manufacturing.
• Experience with BOMs, routing, and capacity planning.
• Ability to read shop drawings and BOQs.

Responsibilities

• Create master production plans based on orders, drawings, and material availability.
• Break down orders into production stages and schedules by center.
• Develop daily/weekly machine-loading plans adhering to capacity.
• Monitor throughput, identify bottlenecks, and propose recovery actions.
• Coordinate with Technical, Procurement, Stores, QA, Projects, and Logistics.
• Maintain WIP visibility and on-time dispatch readiness.
• Report daily variances and adjust sequences as needed.
• Participate in daily production meetings with status updates.
