Job summary

Precision Group in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a procurement specialist with 4–6 years of experience in purchasing manufacturing equipment and raw materials. The role involves supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and coordination with internal teams to meet quality, delivery, and budget targets.

You will manage supplier data, prepare purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery while adhering to ISO standards and company policies. A Bachelor’s in logistics/purchasing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze quotations, cost comparisons, and supplier capabilities to support decision-making.
• Experience in sourcing, cost negotiations, and supplier evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with user departments to understand procurement requirements and ensure supplier compliance.
• Obtain supplier quotations, prepare comparative statements, and support approvals.
• Assist in negotiations on pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules under guidance of Line Manager.
• Raise purchase orders, track delivery, and expedite orders as needed.
• Maintain supplier database and monitor performance for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely closure.
• Ensure compliance with ISO/BRCGS and QHSE requirements as applicable.
