Job summary

IFZA Partnership is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to support the Head of Group Procurement in enhancing governance and value creation across the organization. You will lead sourcing, supplier evaluations, tenders, and negotiations while partnering with internal stakeholders and driving continuous improvement.

This role offers exposure to senior leadership and will drive procurement best practices, risk management, and governance across complex project-based environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, procurement, business administration, engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years at Senior Procurement Specialist level.
• End-to-end procurement experience including sourcing, tendering, contract negotiations, supplier management.
• Proven track record delivering commercial value through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
• Certifications (CIPS, CPSM) advantageous and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Identify process gaps and drive procurement improvements across the organization.
• Lead sourcing activities, supplier evaluations, tenders, and negotiations to optimize value, quality and cost.
• Build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders for effective procurement delivery.
• Manage RFQs, RFPs, supplier assessments, contracts, and documentation.
• Analyze spend data and supplier performance to support strategic decisions.
• Conduct risk assessments to ensure compliance and mitigate procurement risks.
• Support development and implementation of procurement policies and governance frameworks.
• Utilize ERP/procurement systems for procurement activities, reporting, and supplier performance.
