You will lead cost reduction initiatives, manage tenders from request to award, and mentor a team to deliver value while ensuring compliance with ADCB procurement policies and high service standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in procurement or financial services.
• Experience in managing others.
• Knowledge of sourcing techniques.
• Strong negotiation and networking skills.
• Aptitude for decision-making and numbers.
• Experience with supplier management software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and support cost reduction strategies for supplier categories.
• Publish periodic performance monitors for category spend.
• Support tender processes and negotiate with suppliers.
• Review tenders from request to closure to ensure completeness.
• Advise on cost-benefit alternatives to ADCB.
• Ensure awards justify not lowest bidder with policy.
• Be the procurement point-of-contact to ensure quality and response time.
• Support internal departments, ensuring SLA fulfilment.
• Lead and develop the team following ADCB policies.
• Organise and supervise team to meet targets and deliver the business plan.
