Job summary

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading Abu Dhabi-based manufacturing company seeking an experienced Procurement Lead. The role covers end-to-end procurement for production operations, including strategic planning, supplier management, and contract negotiations.

You will drive cost savings, coordinate with Production and Planning teams, and ensure compliance with SOPs and ISO/EHS standards, using SAP/Oracle for data and system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or related field.
• 7–10 years of strategic procurement experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with wood, construction materials, or panel board is essential.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, major contract negotiation, and delivering significant cost savings.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and strong financial/market analysis skills.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual procurement plans aligned with production forecasts and financial targets.
• Formulate and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
• Lead end-to-end supplier management, including qualification, onboarding, performance reviews, and contract management for key categories.
• Coordinate with Production, Inventory Control, and Planning to maintain optimal stock levels and uninterrupted material flow.
• Analyze market trends, price fluctuations, and supply chain risks to inform purchasing decisions.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with SOPs, ISO, EHS, and sustainability standards.
• Leverage ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) to digitize workflows and support system enhancements.
• Collaborate with R&D and cross-functional teams to source materials for product development.
