Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking an experienced Planning Scheduling Lead in Dubai to drive the development of realistic contract durations, build project breakdown structures, and deliver a baseline schedule aligned with SOP and contractual guidelines.

You will monitor progress, identify delays, and propose corrective actions, while coordinating with management, proposals, and estimation teams to ensure timely project completion and robust change/extension analyses.

Responsibilities

• Defines for the Management, the Proposal Manager and the Estimation Department a Contract duration realistic and feasible for execution
• Defines the Project Breakdown Structures
• To develop the overall project schedule in line with SOP / planning guidelines / Contractual agreement in order to deliver baseline schedule of project. Supports Client approval process of the Schedule Baseline, progress claimed or milestones achievement.
• Increases Project team members’ awareness of the Project Milestones, main durations and critical paths
• Monitors and controls the project status, to detect any delay and to propose corrective actions
• Estimates the delay linked with changes and claims and to prepare the Extension of Time analysis, in case of delay due to Client Provides Project Feedback and Lessons Learned in order to improve the Planning
• Scheduling methods and provide input to the statistics of Planning Department
• Serve as technical referee and manages the Planning Scheduling team
• Acts as single point of accountability for all planning scheduling activities on a project
• Highlights areas of concerns and solutions to help achieve a successful and timely completion of Projects
• Operationally manages the project Planning Team
• Estimates the delay linked with changes and claims and to prepare the Extension of Time analysis, in case of delay due to Client
• Provides Project Feedback and Lessons Learned in order to improve the Planning Scheduling methods and provide input to the statistics of Planning Department
