Role Summary

The Internal Communications Expert will play a key role in shaping and executing a cohesive communication strategy that inspires employees, fosters transparency, and builds trust across Majid Al Futtaim Properties – Asset Management. This role involves translating strategic initiatives, major programs, and achievements into actionable communication plans that drive alignment with organizational goals.

Working closely with the CEO, the Communications team, and senior leaders, you will provide end-to-end Internal Communications support, including strategic counsel, leadership and change communications, and 360-degree company-wide campaigns designed to engage employees and amplify key narratives.

Role Responsibilities

Strategic Communications

• Promote and protect the brand and reputation of Majid Al Futtaim Properties – Asset Management Business Unit.
• Partner with the Corporate Communications team to co-develop engagement strategies aligned with business and brand objectives.
• Align communication plans with company vision, values, and strategic priorities.
• Build relationships across functions to deliver integrated strategies that support organizational goals.
• Provide strategic counsel to stakeholders, ensuring communications align with corporate strategy and policies.

Employee Engagement & Storytelling

• Develop compelling, inclusive narratives that employees understand, support, and share with pride.
• Create change programs to help leaders and managers communicate with authenticity and consistency.
• Planned and managed events such as town halls, AMA sessions, and employee meetings to foster engagement.

Campaigns & Content Development

• Design and execute communication campaigns that support strategic goals, utilizing diverse channels and formats.
• Develop content for various platforms, including newsletters, intranet updates, CEO email updates, and social media channels.
• Draft executive speeches, messages, and presentations to convey critical initiatives and updates.

Feedback & Collaboration

• Collect and analyze employee feedback to measure communication effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with HR, Marketing, PR, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging across the organization.

Change Communications

• Lead group-wide change communications initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies.
• Anticipate and address risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies in line with organizational policies.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in writing, editing, and delivering impactful communications in matrix organizations.
• Proven strategic and change communications expertise with a portfolio of relevant work.
• Exceptional advisory and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Proficiency in creating content for diverse channels, including written, graphic, digital, and face-to-face communications.
