Job summary

The Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department seeks an Innovation and Future Readiness Executive to join the Knowledge Management Department, driving institutional innovation, future readiness, and foresight initiatives in alignment with the Dubai Government Excellence Program.

Responsibilities include supporting ISO 56001 compliance, developing future scenarios, managing data-driven insights, and preparing executive reports and presentations for stakeholders across organizational units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Innovation Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Futures Studies, Data Analytics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
• Professional certifications in Institutional Innovation, Foresight, Data Analytics, Knowledge Management, or AI are preferred.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in institutional innovation and/or future foresight, including ISO 56001 experience.
• Knowledge of the Dubai Government Excellence Program and Government of Dubai strategic directions.
• Experience in a government entity or consulting firm serving government organizations.

Responsibilities

• Activate, implement and advance institutional innovation, future readiness, and foresight frameworks in line with policies and best practices.
• Operate the Innovation Management System and Advanced Thinking System, coordinating with units on requirements and procedures.
• Support ISO 56001 related work, including templates, documents, records and evidence.
• Support and develop future readiness programs and participate in future scenario studies.
• Monitor progress on innovation and future readiness indicators and prepare periodic reports.
• Develop and utilize AI applications for data analysis, study preparation and process improvement.
• Coordinate with units to obtain data for institutional studies and analyses.
• Prepare executive presentations and reports on innovation and future readiness.
• Draft audit and institutional assessment files related to innovation and future readiness.
