Job summary

Spider Plus Construction Equipment Trading LLC in Dubai is seeking a Procurement Officer to join the Finance Operations team. The successful candidate will manage procurement activities, supplier relationships, and cost control while ensuring compliance with company procedures.

The role requires 3–5 years GCC procurement experience, strong negotiation and Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP systems like Zoho or Odoo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Diploma in Procurement or Supply Chain.
• CIPS Certification is a plus.
• 3–5 years GCC procurement experience, preferably in construction.
• Strong negotiation and cost-control skills.
• Good knowledge of procurement procedures and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage approved purchase requirements and procurement activities.
• Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations.
• Prepare quotation comparison sheets and Purchase Orders.
• Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and payment conditions.
• Identify reliable and competitive suppliers.
• Ensure purchases are approved and within budget.
• Coordinate with Finance regarding invoices and payments.
• Support procurement cost savings and cash-flow planning.
• Maintain procurement documentation and records.
• Assist with procurement-related audits and resolve supplier payment discrepancies.
• Ensure transparency, confidentiality and ethical conduct in all procurement transactions.
