Job summary

Confidential Jobs in Dubai seeks a senior FP&A leader to manage budgeting, rolling forecasts and project performance reporting for engineering and construction activities, leveraging Oracle Fusion, Power BI, Copilot and AI-enabled analytics.

You will partner with project directors and operations to improve financial control, prepare board-ready analyses, and drive insights that support strategic decisions across multiple regions including KSA and Egypt.

Qualifications

8–10 years in FP&A, finance partnering or project control in engineering/construction.
Strong knowledge of construction economics: budgets, C2C, margins and cash flow.
IFRS knowledge, incl. IFRS 15 for long-term contracts.
Advanced Excel, financial modelling and Power BI; ERP experience; Oracle Fusion a plus.
Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI for analysis and reporting.
UAE experience preferred; KSA/Egypt exposure advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts and multi-year plans by project/department/unit.
Monitor actuals vs budget; analyze revenue, cost, margin and cash flow.
Support IFRS 15 revenue recognition and related obligations.
Prepare monthly management packs, dashboards and board summaries.
Partner with project directors and operations to challenge assumptions.
Support pricing, bids, business cases and margin analysis.
Manage cash, invoicing, collections and DSO with accounting teams.
Improve cost control, PO governance and data integrity.
Support Oracle Fusion implementation and reporting structures.
Use Copilot, Power BI and AI to accelerate analysis and automation.
Develop KPIs: project margin, EV, utilization, billing progression.
Identify process gaps and implement improvements for planning and reporting.
