Overview
Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is a key Real Estate finance opportunity focused on consolidated reporting, budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and senior management analysis for Majid Al Futtaim Development. The role supports accurate financial reporting, business performance reviews, Power BI dashboard validation, and high‑quality financial insights for leadership decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead consolidation of financial plans, including budgets, forecasts, strategic plans, and project finance submissions across the development business.
- Circulate reporting templates, coordinate financial inputs, and ensure submissions are accurate, complete, and aligned with internal finance timelines.
- Support month‑end reporting activities, including flash reports, management reporting packs, head office entity entries, and HFM submissions.
- Prepare group‑level financial reports covering consolidated balance sheet, IFRS cash flow, capex tracking, and capital allocation requirements.
- Deliver consolidated operational KPI reporting and complete monthly validation of financial and non‑financial dashboards in Power BI.
- Build senior management presentations with clear financial insights, variance analysis, trend reviews, and real estate performance commentary.
- Review reporting quality, data accuracy, information integrity, and compliance with IFRS and IAS requirements.
- Use financial modelling, business intelligence tools, and large real estate datasets to support better planning and commercial decision‑making.
- Identify opportunities to automate reports, improve processes, enhance controls, and support finance system upgrades or implementation projects.
- Partner with finance, project, development, and corporate teams to improve reporting discipline and strengthen management visibility.
Ideal Profile
- 5 to 8 years of finance experience in FP&A, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, or business planning.
- Degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field; professional certification is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, IAS, financial reporting standards, financial modelling, budget cycles, and long‑term planning processes.
- Hands‑on experience with financial systems such as HFM, Oracle, SAP, or similar enterprise finance platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills with the ability to prepare polished reports and leadership presentations.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and translate complex financial information into clear, practical, and decision‑ready insights.
- Experience using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools for dashboard validation, KPI analysis, and reporting automation.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines, multiple priorities, and sensitive financial information.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative working style.
- Real estate, property development, construction finance, or capital project reporting experience is an advantage.
