  • Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience in FP&A, finance business partnering, project control or financial controlling, ideally within engineering, construction, contracting, real estate development or a project-based consultancy environment.
  • Strong knowledge of construction project economics: budgets, cost-to-complete, committed cost, variation orders, claims, payment certificates, work in progress, project margin and cash flow.

  • Project Performance Management: monitor actual results versus budget and forecast, analyse revenue, cost, gross margin, operating profit, utilisation, productivity, committed cost and cost‑to‑complete.

  • Management Reporting: prepare monthly management packs, project dashboards, board‑level summaries and concise commentary on key movements, risks, opportunities and required actions.
  • Business Partnering: work closely with project directors, engineering, contracting, procurement, commercial and operations teams to challenge assumptions and support better financial decisions.
  • Tendering and Commercial Support: support pricing, bid reviews, business cases, margin analysis and sensitivity scenarios for major contracts and strategic initiatives.
