Job summary

You will compare offers, negotiate terms, ensure credential compliance, coordinate with accounts and logistics, maintain confidentiality and prepare purchase orders after management approval.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any field.
• Basic knowledge of purchasing, food commodities or import–export preferred.
• Good English and Hindi communication skills.
• Comfortable using email, WhatsApp, Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Organized, responsible and able to handle multiple suppliers.
• Candidates residing in Ajman will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source reliable suppliers for spices, rice, grains, pulses and other food products.
• Contact suppliers and request quotations, specifications, samples and company documents.
• Compare prices, product quality, packing, payment terms and delivery schedules.
• Negotiate commercial terms according to company instructions.
• Verify supplier credentials, export history and product certifications.
• Maintain updated supplier records, quotations and purchase reports.
• Follow up with suppliers regarding offers, samples, proforma invoices and shipments.
• Coordinate with the accounts, logistics and management teams.
• Monitor market prices and identify better sourcing opportunities.
• Prepare purchase orders only after receiving management approval.
• Maintain complete confidentiality regarding company prices, suppliers and business terms.
