Job summary

Grand Mercure Business Bay in Dubai seeks a Finance Manager to safeguard financial integrity, lead the finance team, and ensure accurate reporting and strict cost control. You will partner with the General Manager to deliver data-driven insights while upholding Accor brand standards.

The role covers budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, tax compliance (VAT) and liaison with auditors and authorities. Hotel experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 35+ years as Finance Manager/Assistant Finance Manager in UAE hospitality (hotel experience mandatory).
• Bachelor in Accounting/Finance/Economics. Professional certification preferred (CA/CPA/ACCA/CMA).
• Proficiency in SunSystems, Opera Cloud and Excel; experience with Accor reporting tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) per Accor and local standards.
• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasts with department heads.
• Conduct monthly variance analysis and advise on actions to improve margins.
• Provide financial modeling and feasibility analysis for revenue streams and capex.
• Maintain internal controls (SOX/Accor audits) to prevent leakage and fraud.
• Oversee cash flow management, treasury, and working capital optimization.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to analyze revenue performance and pricing.
