Confidential Careers seeks an experienced Head of Business Finance – Commercial & Operations to lead financial strategy, planning, performance and decision support within a large, complex organisation.

The role partners with executive management to provide commercial insight, challenge business decisions and ensure initiatives are supported by robust financial analysis and planning. CPA/CFA/ACCA/CIMA are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership exposure within Business Finance, FP&A or Commercial Finance.
• Proven experience partnering with executive-level stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and performance management.
• Demonstrated experience leading finance teams and complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience evaluating investments, strategic initiatives and business cases.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• CPA, CFA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Business Finance agenda across Commercial and Operations.
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic, commercial and operational decision-making.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
• Oversee financial modelling, business cases and scenario analysis for strategic initiatives and investments.
• Provide financial leadership across major commercial, operational and transformation projects.
• Identify financial risks, opportunities and performance trends and provide clear recommendations to leadership.
• Oversee management reporting and financial analytics, translating complex data into actionable business insights.
• Lead financial performance reviews and challenge business performance against agreed targets.
• Build and lead a high-performing Business Finance team.
• Drive continuous improvement across financial planning, analytics and reporting.
• Ensure strong financial governance, compliance and alignment with organisational policies.
