Job summary

First.tech Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Financial Controller to lead group-wide financial control, budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, and management reporting across the organisation. The role partners with the CFO and business leaders to drive cost optimisation, ensure IFRS compliance, strengthen internal controls, and provide timely decision-support information.

You will oversee month-end close, cash flow, procurement governance, and cost-control initiatives while advancing systems and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA, CMA, ACCA (completed or in progress) is a strong plus.
• 6+ years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally within insurance or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and statutory reporting.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses for decisions.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital daily/weekly.
• Provide cost-control and procurement governance insights.
• Collaborate with functions as finance business partner.
