Job summary

Confidential in Dubai, UAE is seeking an experienced Credit Control Manager to lead the credit control and collections function across the business. The role requires overseeing receivables, ensuring timely collections, and strengthening credit policies while mitigating financial risk.

You will collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Operations to improve cash flow, manage high-value customer accounts, and develop the credit control team to achieve targets and KPI goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 7–10 years in credit control, accounts receivable, or collections.
• UAE experience preferred; automotive sector is a plus.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced MS Excel and ERP/accounting systems experience.
• Ability to lead and develop a high-performance team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Credit Control and Collections function.
• Develop and implement credit control strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor accounts receivable portfolio and ageing.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
• Establish credit limits and payment terms per policies.
• Monitor credit exposure and identify risks early.
• Review ageing reports and develop collection strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Aftersales, Operations and Finance.
• Manage high-value accounts and negotiate payment plans.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of customer accounts.
• Monitor payments, bounced cheques, disputes and credits.
• Set collection targets and KPIs for the team.
• Prepare regular credit, ageing, and cash-flow reports.
• Analyze collection performance and identify risks/opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and approval limits.
• Support month-end/year-end receivables closing.
• Coordinate with Legal on long-outstanding or disputed accounts.
• Identify opportunities to improve collection efficiency and working capital.
• Lead and develop the credit control team to meet targets.
