Job summary

Gulftainer is seeking a Compliance Manager to lead the group-wide compliance programme across multiple jurisdictions. You will translate requirements into practical controls, monitor adherence, support investigations, and provide reliable visibility of material issues to the Chief Legal Officer.

The role demands strong risk assessment, policy development, and effective coordination with Legal, Procurement, Finance, HR, IT, and Operations to embed compliant practices across the group.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a group-wide compliance programme across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong ability to translate requirements into practical controls, documentation, and actions.
• Proven track record in conducting compliance risk assessments and reporting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a Group compliance framework covering relevant activities, entities, and jurisdictions.
• Maintain a compliance obligations register with owners, evidence, and deadlines.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments with business and functional leaders.
• Prepare an annual compliance plan with reviews, deliverables, owners, and milestones.
• Review activities and changes to identify compliance requirements before implementation.
• Develop, review, and update policies, procedures, and guidance with Legal and other functions.
• Monitor adherence to anti-bribery, conflicts of interest, gifts and hospitality, and third-party due diligence.
