Job summary

Azizi Developments is seeking a Senior Procurement Engineer - Civil to lead sourcing, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiations for construction materials and subcontractors. You will analyze BOQs, drive cost optimization, and ensure timely deliveries aligned with project schedules.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 8–12 years of regional procurement experience, with deep knowledge of building materials, supplier prequalification, RFQ processes, and ERP/Oracle/SAP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8–12 years of total construction procurement experience with regional market expertise.
• Deep knowledge of civil building materials, drawings, BOQs, and local industry standards.
• Experience with supplier prequalification, RFQs, bid analysis, and contracting.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Prequalification: Find and vet reliable suppliers and subcontractors for civil works (concrete, steel, finishes).
• Tendering & Evaluation: Prepare RFQs, analyze technical/commercial bids, and build comparative statements.
• Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize project costs.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, planning engineers, and site teams to avoid project delays.
• Value Engineering: Support cost-saving initiatives and alternative material proposals without sacrificing quality.
