Job summary

PricewaterhouseCoopers in the United Arab Emirates seeks an Audit Manager to lead a high-profile client portfolio and manage full audit cycles. You will collaborate with a team of experts to deliver high-quality assurance services in line with ISAs and IFRS, while identifying opportunities for client development.

The position requires 6–8 years of external audit experience at a Big 4 firm, strong communication skills, and bilingual Arabic/English.

Qualifications

A degree in accounting/finance or related field.
6-8 years of external financial audit experience in one of the Big 4 firms.
Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA.
Experience auditing Banking/Insurance clients is an asset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team.
Bilingual Arabic and English (spoken and written).
Knowledge of ISAs, IFRS (IFRS9, IFRS17) and financial services regulations.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage an iconic client portfolio within audit engagements.
Oversee day-to-day client liaison and technical issue resolution.
Identify and pursue business development opportunities and nurture client relationships.
Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges and enhance team skills.
Manage delivery of large audits ensuring deadlines are met.
Design audit strategy and supervise execution in line with engagement leader guidance.
Present to boards/audit committees and ensure compliance with risk, quality, and independence standards.
Coach and develop junior staff and foster a collaborative team environment.
