Job summary

Informa, a leading global academic publishing group, is hiring a dynamic Account Manager to lead West Africa journals and eBooks revenue growth. You will cultivate relationships with universities, libraries, and government bodies, and act as a trusted advisor on Open Access, Read & Publish models, and digital content licensing.

Based in Dubai with regional travel across West Africa, you will drive strategic account plans, negotiate deals, and coordinate with Global teams to optimize pricing,

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in B2B account management or institutional engagement, preferably in publishing/s academic content.
Experience selling eBooks, journals or academic publishing to libraries and consortia.
Strong knowledge of Open Access, Read & Publish models, and digital content licensing.

Responsibilities

Lead growth of Journals and eBooks business in West Africa by expanding institutional sales and managing key accounts.
Build and execute strategic account plans, drive renewals and new opportunities with universities, corporates and government bodies.
Collaborate with marketing, editorial and product teams to position digital resources and optimize pricing and subscription bundles.
Track performance and provide regular forecasts and strategic inputs to leadership.
