Job description

Under general supervision the Storekeeper Helper is responsible for providing support on the organizing and maintaining of the Warehouse by purchasing, receiving, and storing spare and wear parts but also tools and consumables. The use of the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a key function in his daily work.

Job Responsibilities

• Takes an active support role in working with the operations and maintenance personnel in prioritizing work to be done and in coordinating activities with maintenance.
• Support on the review timeliness of schedules deliveries
• Support on tracking inventory levels
• Support ordering new supplies in a timely manner
• Ensure that the facility equipment is properly maintained, especially tools.
• Sets up and pre-stages parts from the warehouse and helps in finding and retrieving parts from the warehouse to expedite work.
• Maintains CMMS records and is preparing the request of purchasing for spare- and wear parts.

Support on the annual inventorty of all parts, consumables and tools.
