Job summary

Shou'alah is seeking a Storekeeper in Dubai to organize and maintain the warehouse, handling purchasing, receiving and storing spare parts, wear parts, tools and consumables. The role relies on CMMS to manage maintenance records and streamline parts provisioning.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, plus an apprenticeship or electronic technical school diploma, and at least 3 years of storekeeping experience with CMMS proficiency in inventory control and recordkeeping.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School diploma or GED, and an apprenticeship or electronic technical school diploma.
• Must be knowledgeable and experience in using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• At least 3+ years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the warehouse: purchasing, receiving and storing spare and wear parts, tools and consumables.
• Maintain CMMS records and prepare purchasing requests for spare and wear parts.
• Review timeliness of schedules deliveries and track inventory levels.
• Order new supplies in a timely manner and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained.
• Set up and pre-stage parts from the warehouse and assist in locating parts to expedite work.

Job Description:

Under supervision of the Maintenance Manager the Storekeeper is responsible for the organization and maintaining of the Warehouse by purchasing, receiving, and storing spare and wear parts but also tools and consumables. The use of the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a key function in his daily work.

1.1 Job Scope Summary

• Takes an active role in working with the operations and maintenance personnel in prioritizing work to be done and in coordinating activities with maintenance.
• Review timeliness of schedules deliveries
• Tracks inventory levels
• Order new supplies in a timely manner
• Ensure that the facility equipment is properly maintained, especially tools.
• Sets up and pre-stages parts from the warehouse and helps in finding and retrieving parts from the warehouse to expedite work.
• Maintains CMMS records and is preparing the request of purchasing for spare- and wear parts.

Annual inventorty of all parts, consumables and tools.
