Job summary

Sunrise Steel Industry LLC in Dubai seeks an experienced Storekeeper to manage inventory and material flow within our steel processing and delivery center. You will oversee inbound operations, ensure accurate stock records, and coordinate with production and procurement to prevent stockouts.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of five years in storekeeping, deep knowledge of rebar origins, weights, sizes and grades, and fluent English and Hindi.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as Storekeeper or Store Incharge.
• Deep knowledge of Rebar origins, theoretical weights, bar counts, sizes and grades.
• Fluent in English and Hindi.
• Highly analytical with strict attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Inbound Operations: Receive and inspect all inbound materials, verify quantities, specifications and quality against purchase orders.
• Physical Verification: Conduct regular stock counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Scrap Control: Verify and record offcuts and scrap weekly.
• Record Keeping: Maintain precise system records and documentation for all material movements (GRN, SRV, Delivery Notes).
• Reconciliation: Prepare daily/monthly stock reports and perform inventory reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory & Material Management

• Inbound Operations: Receive and inspect all inbound materials, meticulously verifying quantities, specifications, and quality against purchase orders.
• Physical Verification: Conduct regular physical stock counts (daily, weekly, and monthly) to maintain inventory accuracy and integrity.
• Scrap Control: Accurately verify, record, and manage the quantity of offcuts and scrap on a weekly basis.

2. Documentation & Reporting

• Record Keeping: Maintain precise system records and documentation for all material movements (e.g., GRN, SRV, Delivery Notes).
• Reconciliation: Prepare comprehensive daily/monthly stock reports and perform monthly inventory reconciliations between physical stock and system data.

3. Production Coordination

• Material Availability: Proactively monitor stock levels to ensure continuous material availability, preventing any production stoppages.
• Cross-functional Communication: Correspond effectively with production, procurement, and management teams regarding stock status and material requirements.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Storekeeper or Store Incharge.
• Technical Knowledge: Must possess deep industry knowledge, including Rebar origins, theoretical weights, bar counts, sizes, and grades.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English and Hindi.
• Core Competencies: Highly analytical with a strict commitment to detail, possessing exceptional skills in accurate record-keeping and material identification.
