Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort in Dibba Al Fujairah is seeking a Storekeeper to manage stock, process requisitions and safeguard inventory. You will record movements, perform regular counts and liaise with purchasing to ensure timely replenishment. Strong English, Excel skills and professional appearance are required.

The role emphasizes confidentiality in financial practices and a proactive, detail-oriented approach within a luxury hospitality environment.

Formación

• Diploma in Accounting / Finance.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar capacity.
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and relevant accounting systems.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the safety of stored items by keeping the store locked when unattended.
• Issue, re-order stock and verify proper store requisitions.
• Record stock movements in the stock system promptly and accurately.
• Conduct routine inventory checks and report discrepancies.
• Coordinate with purchasers to replenish stock in line with par levels.
• Monitor expiry dates, slow-moving items and maintain store cleanliness.
• Prepare and submit required reports to Hotel Management.
• Attend briefings and trainings as assigned.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• To ensure the safety of all stored items by keeping the Store locked when unattended and out of office hours
• To issue and re-order stock and to ensure that no goods leave the storeroom without a proper authorized store requisition
• To post on the stock system all movements of goods in and out of stores in a timely and accurate manner
• To conduct routine physical inventory checks
• Follow up of all pending purchase requisitions with the purchaser to ensure the timely replenishment of depleted stocks in accordance with the par levels defined by Management
• To prevent loss, spoilage and breakage by careful monitoring of the expiry date of perishable items, monitoring the slow moving items and keeping the store clean and tidy at all times
• Report as well as Slow Moving Item Report and any other reports as required by Hotel Management
• Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
• Be aware of the hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the assigned by the Management

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting / Finance
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar capacity
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and relevant accounting systems
• Good communication skills
• Service oriented with an eye for details
