Job summary

Minimalist in the UAE is seeking a Store Manager to lead one of our luxury brand stores. You will oversee daily operations, drive sales, manage the team, and deliver a high-end customer experience while upholding our brand standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of UAE retail leadership in watches or jewelry, excellent English and Arabic communication, and a track record of training staff and optimizing performance. This role requires a long-term commitment and a passion for luxury.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in managing retail stores within the UAE in luxury, watches, or jewelry.
• Ideally a relevant academic degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or similar.
• Ideally relevant certification in sales, management, or project management from accredited providers.
• Outstanding communication skills in English.
• Outstanding communication skills in Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Run daily store operations including opening/closing, staffing, and floor supervision.
• Own the store's daily, weekly, and monthly sales results.
• Lead on the floor to deliver a consistent luxury service experience.
• Manage stock, pricing, and stock discrepancy reporting.
• Oversee training onboarding and day-to-day product updates.

Minimalist.ae is a local brand founded in 2016 in Dubai that designs and manufactures elegant, high-quality watches, jewelry, handbags, perfumes, and leather goods designed to enhance personal style. With four stores now open in the UAE, we focus on simple yet sophisticated designs, with specifically our Arabic numeral watches being known for their timeless appeal. Minimalist believes in simplicity and use only the finest materials to produce beautiful and durable items, combining elegant design with excellent quality.

The role

As Store Manager, you will oversee the operations and teams of one of our stores across the UAE. Apart from “just” managing, you will also be directly in touch with customers and living our credo of ‘We don’t sell - we forge relationships’. You will get to know our customers’ demands in detail in order to showcase the product(s) that will most closely fit to what they’re looking for. Every person that comes to visit our store is important to you, regardless of whether they’re on a spending spree or just window-shopping.

Store Operations & Sales

• Run all daily store operations, including opening/closing, staffing, and floor supervision.
• Own the store’s daily, weekly, and monthly sales results.
• Actively manage the sales floor to drive conversion, ATV, and UPT.
• Ensure stock availability, correct pricing, and accurate stock handling within the store.
• Maintain store standards, visual merchandising, and overall presentation at all times.
• Control the store level stock movement, counts, and documentation.
• Ensure strong loss prevention practices within the store.
• Investigate and report stock discrepancies.

Customer Experience

• Be present on the floor to lead customer experience by example.
• Handle VIP clients and complex customer situations.
• Ensure the team delivers a consistent luxury service experience every day.
• Follow up on customer feedback and take immediate action at store level.

Team Management

• Manage the store team on a daily basis, including scheduling and task allocation.
• Set clear daily priorities and expectations for the team.
• Conduct regular performance check-ins and address performance issues quickly.
• Create a positive, high energy working environment

Training & Onboarding

• Ensure new joiners complete the onboarding plan and understand store procedures.
• Support the team with day-to-day product updates and selling guidelines.
• Reinforce service standards and basic sales techniques on the floor.
• Identify skill gaps and flag training needs to the Retail Manager.
