Job summary

Minimalist.ae is seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee UAE store operations, lead a high-performing team, and deliver exceptional luxury service. You will be directly in touch with customers, drive daily sales results, manage inventory, and maintain premium store standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of UAE luxury retail experience, a relevant business degree, and fluency in English and Arabic to engage diverse clientele.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience managing UAE luxury retail stores (watches/jewelry).
• Ideally a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management or similar.
• Certifications in sales/management from accredited providers are a plus.
• Excellent English and Arabic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, opening/closing, staffing, and floor supervision.
• Drive sales, conversion, ATV, and UPT while maintaining stock accuracy and pricing.
• Lead customer experience on the floor, handling VIP clients and complex situations.
• Manage the store team with scheduling, priorities, and performance feedback.

With four stores now open in the UAE, we focus on simple yet sophisticated designs, with specifically our Arabic numeral watches being known for their timeless appeal. The role

As Store Manager, you will oversee the operations and teams of one of our stores across the UAE. Apart from “just” managing, you will also be directly in touch with customers and living our credo of ‘We don’t sell - we forge relationships’. You will get to know our customers’ demands in detail in order to showcase the product(s) that will most closely fit to what they’re looking for. Every person that comes to visit our store is important to you, regardless of whether they’re on a spending spree or just window-shopping.

Store Operations & Sales

• Run all daily store operations, including opening/closing, staffing, and floor supervision.
• Own the store’s daily, weekly, and monthly sales results.
• Actively manage the sales floor to drive conversion, ATV, and UPT.
• Ensure stock availability, correct pricing, and accurate stock handling within the store.
• Maintain store standards, visual merchandising, and overall presentation at all times.
• Control the store level stock movement, counts, and documentation.
• Ensure strong loss prevention practices within the store.
• Investigate and report stock discrepancies.

Customer Experience

• Be present on the floor to lead customer experience by example.
• Handle VIP clients and complex customer situations.
• Ensure the team delivers a consistent luxury service experience every day.
• Follow up on customer feedback and take immediate action at store level.

Team Management

• Manage the store team on a daily basis, including scheduling and task allocation.
• Set clear daily priorities and expectations for the team.
• Conduct regular performance check-ins and address performance issues quickly.
• Create a positive, high energy working environment

Training & Onboarding

• Ensure new joiners complete the onboarding plan and understand store procedures.
• Support the team with day-to-day product updates and selling guidelines.
• Reinforce service standards and basic sales techniques on the floor.
• Identify skill gaps and flag training needs to the Retail Manager.

Requirement:

As an ideal candidate, you will have:

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managing retail stores within the UAE in luxury, watches, or jewelry;
• Ideally a relevant academic degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or similar;
• Ideally relevant certification in sales, management, or project management from accredited providers;
• Outstanding communication skills in English;
• Outstanding communication skills in Arabic.
