Job summary

Overland Auto Works is seeking an experienced Store Keeper to manage automotive parts, materials, tools, and inventory within our workshop environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of inventory management, stock control, receiving and issuing materials, GRN, and warehouse documentation, with automotive experience preferred. 2–3 years in a warehouse role is expected, and familiarity with ERP/Excel is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Store Keeper/warehouse experience preferred.
• Automotive parts or workshop warehousing experience advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of inventory and stock management systems.
• Experience with GRN, material issue, stock transfers and returns.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming parts, materials, tools and accessories.
• Verify receipts against purchase orders, invoices and delivery notes.
• Prepare and maintain GRN and related documentation.
• Store and organize materials by location and category.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the system.
• Issue materials to workshop against approved requests.
• Monitor stock levels and flag low or fast-moving items.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile differences.
• Handle returns, damaged items and warranty material movements.
• Ensure proper labeling and safe storage of products.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Workshop, Sales, QC and Accounts.
• Maintain documentation for receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.

  Overland Auto Works is looking for an experienced and organized Store Keeper to manage our automotive parts, materials, tools, and inventory.

  The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of inventory management, stock control, receiving and issuing materials, GRN, material returns, and warehouse documentation. Experience in an automotive workshop, spare parts, or auto accessories environment will be an advantage.

• Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming automotive parts, materials, tools, and accessories.

  • Verify received materials against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents.

  • Prepare and maintain GRN (Goods Received Notes) and related documentation.

  • Store and organize materials according to designated locations and categories.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the company system.

  • Issue materials and spare parts to the workshop against approved material requests.

  • Monitor stock levels and report low-stock and fast-moving items.

  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile inventory differences.

  • Handle material returns, damaged materials, and warranty‑related material movements.

  • Ensure all products are properly labeled and stored.

  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Workshop, Sales, QC, and Accounts departments.

  • Maintain proper documentation for material receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.

  • Keep the store/warehouse clean, organized, and safe.

  • Ensure proper control of company tools and equipment and workshop materials.

  • Support periodic inventory audits and stock reconciliation.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Store Keeper, Warehouse Assistant, Inventory Controller, or similar position.

• Automotive workshop, spare parts, or auto accessories experience is preferred.

• Good knowledge of inventory and stock management.

• Experience with GRN, material issue, stock transfer, and material return processes.

• Basic computer knowledge and experience using ERP/inventory management software.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to maintain proper records and documentation.

• Ability to work independently and coordinate with different departments.

• UAE experience is preferred.
