Job summary

Azizi Developments in Dubai is seeking an Inventory Auditor to conduct regular audits of construction materials, verify stock levels, and ensure compliance with project specifications and internal controls.

The role involves safeguarding materials from theft or damage, coordinating ERP-based inventory records, and preparing detailed audit reports with corrective actions. Experience with MR/PR/GRN processes and experience in a fast-paced construction environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular audits of construction materials and supplies to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Verify the quality and condition of materials received, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Verify implemented measures to safeguard construction materials against theft, loss, or damage.
  • Audit store processes & procedure to ensure proper tracking records for MR, PR, GRN, LPO, shelf life of materials, MSDS, etc.
  • Conduct audit for inventory control procedures to track store stock levels, manage reordering, and minimize wastage or discrepancies.
  • Familiar with use of ERP systems.
  • Audit ageing analysis has been reported properly.
  • Audit that materials ordered timely as per project requirement to avoid delays.
  • Audit for storage of materials, identification, etc.
  • Building Material Awareness.
  • Audit for Stock Receiving, movement Process, tools deployment process, stock shelving, warehouse management process, Racks tagging, material / stock taking.
  • Maintain detailed records of audit findings, observations, and corrective actions taken; prepare comprehensive audit reports with recommendations.
  • Validate the records for goods received against purchase orders.
  • Coordinating and developing internal auditing processes.
  • Management of Commercial aspects.
  • Drafting recommendations on corrective / preventive measures.
  • Ensure complete, accurate and timely audit information is reported to manager.
  • Overall execution of planned annual audits.

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular audits of construction materials and supplies to ensure accurate inventory levels. This involves physically counting and reconciling items in stock with records in the system and identify discrepancies or potential shortages.
  • Verify the quality and condition of materials received, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications. This may involve inspecting samples, checking documentation, and identifying any discrepancies or defects.
  • Verify Implemented measures to safeguard construction materials against theft, loss, or damage. This may include implementing security protocols, conducting regular security checks, and addressing any vulnerabilities in the storage facilities.
  • Audit to ensure entire store process & procedure is followed, & proper tracking records have been maintained for MR, PR, GRN, LPO, shelf life of materials, MSDS (Material safety data sheet) etc.
  • Conduct audit for inventory control procedures to track store stock levels, manage reordering of supplies, and minimize wastage or inventory discrepancies.
  • Familiar with use of ERP systems
