Job summary

Anantara Downtown Dubai is seeking a role within the hotel operations focused on chemical handling, safety, and hygiene to support clean and compliant kitchen environments. The position emphasizes adherence to hygiene standards and collaboration with Engineering for maintenance as part of daily duties.

The successful candidate will participate in energy conservation efforts and uphold environmental policies within the Kitchen Department, ensuring safe storage of chemicals and proper disposal

Responsibilities

To ensure the safe storage, handling, care, and use of chemicals to protect themselves and colleagues from incorrect or dangerous usage.
To ensure the correct use of required personal protective equipment, including gloves, boots, goggles, masks, and hats.
To empty and clean waste bins and designated areas according to the schedule and whenever necessary.
To ensure that exit areas are kept free of obstacles at all times.
To ensure that all dishwashing areas and equipment are kept clean at all times and to liaise with Engineering for maintenance requirements.
To play an active role in supporting the hotel's energy conservation and environmental policies and practices.
To ensure that all surfaces, areas, and operating equipment within the Kitchen Department are cleaned and maintained in accordance with the hotel's hygiene standards.
To perform any other related duties as requested.
