Star Services LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Mechanical Test House Technician responsible for performing physical and mechanical testing on steel products. The role includes conducting tests, recording results, and ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 standards.

Candidates should possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a Bachelor's Degree in Science, with 2-5 years of relevant experience in testing rolled steel products and knowledge of SAP. The position offers a chance to contribute to quality assurance in a dynamic environment.

Formación

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in testing of rolled steel products.
• Experience in rolling mill laboratory operations preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mechanical and physical testing on steel samples.
• Record and report test results accurately.
• Monitor test results and report abnormalities.
• Conduct failure analysis and support corrective actions.
• Store test results in SAP for customer certificates.
• Ensure compliance with IMS, ISO 17025, and ASME Code.
• Perform routine maintenance of laboratory instruments.
• Support QC and laboratory activities.

Conocimientos

Knowledge of laboratory testing instruments

Knowledge of rebar specifications

Computer literacy with SAP

Educación

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Metallurgy

Bachelor's Degree in Science
