Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai, UAE, is seeking an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman with strong knowledge of steel fabrication and SolidWorks to join our manufacturing team immediately. You will prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings, fabrication shop and production drawings, and coordinate with engineering and production teams.

The successful candidate will have 2–3 years of relevant experience, be proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and possess good attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of steel fabrication/manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Experience with steel structures, poles, or fabrication drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Prepare fabrication, shop, assembly, and production drawings for steel structures.
• Develop drawings based on engineering requirements and production specs.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and fabrication teams.
• Revise drawings per project and production needs.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Ensure dimensions, materials, tolerances, and specs are accurate.
• Assist with material take-offs and technical documentation.
• Maintain drawing revisions and documentation.
