Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai, UAE, is seeking an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman with strong knowledge of steel fabrication and SolidWorks to join our manufacturing team immediately. You will prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings, fabrication shop and production drawings, and coordinate with engineering and production teams.

The successful candidate will have 2–3 years of relevant experience, be proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and possess good attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of steel fabrication/manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Experience with steel structures, poles, or fabrication drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

• Prepare fabrication, shop, assembly, and production drawings for steel structures and poles.
• Develop accurate drawings based on engineering requirements and production specifications.
• Coordinate with the engineering, production, and fabrication teams.
• Revise drawings according to project and production requirements.
• Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings.
• Ensure dimensions, materials, tolerances, and specifications are accurately reflected in drawings.
• Assist with material take-offs and technical documentation when required.
• Maintain proper drawing revisions and documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in steel fabrication/manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Good working knowledge of SolidWorks.
• Experience with steel structures, poles, fabrication, or manufacturing drawings is required.
• Ability to read and understand engineering/fabrication drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• UAE experience is preferred.
