Job summary

Aggreko, LLC seeks a Statutory Compliance Specialist in Dubai to manage IFRS and local GAAP reporting, tax compliance, and statutory audits. You will partner with finance, auditors, and tax advisors to ensure timely, accurate statutory statements and disclosures.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CA/CPA or equivalent.
• Knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Experienced in statutory accounting, financial reporting and external audit management.
• Familiar with corporate tax, VAT and wider tax compliance obligations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual statutory financial statements in line with IFRS and local GAAP.
• Ensure statutory accounts reconcile to management accounts and ERP balances.
• Prepare disclosures, reconciliations, and statutory reporting papers.
• Coordinate year-end and periodic statutory reporting to meet deadlines.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors during audits.
• Coordinate audit requests and facilitate timely resolutions with finance teams.
• Support Company Secretarial activities including annual returns and regulatory filings.
• Coordinate direct and indirect tax compliance across entities.
