Job summary

Aggreko, LLC is hiring a Statutory Compliance Specialist in the United Arab Emirates. You will ensure timely statutory reporting, audit, and tax compliance, collaborating with finance teams, auditors, and tax advisors.

The role requires a qualified accountant with IFRS expertise, statutory accounting experience, and strong stakeholder management. You will coordinate year-end reporting and tax compliance across entities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with IFRS knowledge and statutory accounting experience.
• Experience coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Strong stakeholder management and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual statutory financial statements in line with IFRS and local GAAP.
• Ensure statutory accounts reconcile to management accounts and ERP balances.
• Prepare disclosures, reconciliations, and working papers for statutory reporting.
• Coordinate year-end and periodic statutory reporting to meet deadlines.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany, tax, provisions and equity.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors during audits.
• Coordinate audit requests and resolve queries with finance teams.
• Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting analyses for statutory audits.
• Support Company Secretarial activities including annual returns and regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate direct and indirect tax compliance activities across entities.
