Job summary

NOV is seeking a Machine Operator to manufacture Stators and Rotors for oilfield directional drilling. You will follow SOPs, perform quality checks, and assist in machine maintenance and repair tasks on the shop floor.

The role requires reading drawings, using measuring tools, and applying basic math. English communication and adherence to HSE policies are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with knowledge in basic math.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Basic math and measurement skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture stators and rotors for oilfield directional drilling.
• Follow procedures related to stator and rotor manufacturing process.
• Review necessary process frequency to be fluent and aware of critical parameters.
• Verify quality checks at each manufacturing step prior to next process.
• Support continual improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Follow SOPs and perform tasks per Job Hazard Analysis.
• Operate overhead cranes for movement of parts or products.
• Report abnormalities or variations observed in the manufacturing process.
• Ensure tools, gauges and equipment are maintained properly.
• Document and maintain checklists, paper routers, or ERP entries.
• Assist in repair work of machines or areas in the facility.
• Handle products, tubes & core at elevated temperatures with safety procedures.
• Follow 5S housekeeping requirements.
• Suggest improvements, risks, safety concerns and good practices.
• Comply with NOV HSE procedures and maintain logs.
• Observe HSE regulations and promote safe working practices.
