Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Stage Crew member to support Theater Operations. You will assist with setup/teardown of scenery, props, and stage equipment, and help with scene changes to ensure smooth transitions.

You will help maintain backstage organization, follow safety protocols, and participate in rehearsals and production meetings as required. The role requires physical work, ability to work evenings and weekends, and strong teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical theatre training preferred.
• Previous stage crew or theatrical production support experience is an asset.
• Basic understanding of stagecraft, rigging, and theatrical equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by production schedules.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Problem-solving abilities and adaptability in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and teardown of scenery, props and stage equipment before and after performances.
• Support scene changes during performances ensuring smooth and timely transitions.
• Maintain backstage cleanliness and organization including storage of props and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections of stage elements and report any damage or safety concerns.
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other crew members and departments to ensure performance readiness.
• Attend technical rehearsals and production meetings as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Stage or Technical Director.
